Welcome back to my kitchen! I was just in Amsterdam last week and I finally had some time to cook again. One of the things I miss when I’m on the road is being able to make my own food.
A lot of you have asked what I eat when I am craving something sweet so I wanted to share my favorite sweet snack recipe… home made DARK CHOCOLATE BARS! I’ve always looked in stores for dark chocolate bars that are in combination with dried fruits or nuts, but I never came across anything I liked. So I decided to make it myself!
Fun fact, dark chocolate contains less sugar, more cacao, and is full of anti-oxidants when compared to milk chocolate. It has more health benefits than other sweets and who doesn’t love a savory snack?

- Home Made Granola ( see here recipe in my first food video)
- 2 bars Dark Chocolate ( I use the brand Lindt 70% )
- Seeds ( Flaxseed | Chiaseed | optional: hennepseed, sunflowerseed, gojiberries etc)
- Mixed Nuts
- Dried Mulberry
- Puffed Rice
- Dried Coconut Chunks
- 2 Liter/ +/- 70 oz Hot water
- 1 Big Pan
- 1 Small pan
- 1 Big plate
- I do recommend to use foil, makes it easier to take off the chocolate.
